During the IATA winter season, NUE Airport experiences considerable anti-cyclical demand on the apron: the trade fair season is in full swing. The Q1s are particularly important for trade fair traffic. A total of 110 national & international trade fairs take place in Nuremberg, 44% of visitors are international. In Q1 2023, more than a quarter of NUE's business travellers travelled to visit one of the trade fairs. 

To help airlines manage and meet demand for these peak periods, NUE has produced a trade fair calendar with data provided by the trade fair organisation. It shows the most important international trade fairs with their dates and recommendations for capacity adjustments - the day before and after as well as the first and last day of a trade fair are of particular importance.

Of course, a Nuremberg calendar in winter also includes the Nuremberg Christmas Market, where tourists from all over the world come into Nuremberg!
