Diocletian's Palace is undoubtedly the most famous highlight of Split. This well-preserved Roman palace from the 4th century is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers a unique blend of Roman architecture and medieval elements. 

The waterfront promenade, also known as the "Riva", is another highlight of Split. Visitors can stroll along it, relax in one of the outdoor cafés or enjoy the atmosphere of the city.
