Summer dreams begin at Nuremberg Airport:

Preview of the 2026 summer flight schedule

Nuremberg Airport is offering a preview of summer 2026: around 60 nonstop destinations await travelers – a boon for those seeking relaxation from the metropolitan region and beyond. "Whether sun, beach, or city break – Europe's most beautiful cities and vacation destinations can be reached comfortably and relaxed. Just in time for Christmas, most of the flights are already available for booking. For everyone dreaming of next summer during the cold season," says airport managing director Dr. Michael Hupe, sparking the desire to travel.

The selection could hardly be more diverse: Greece inspires with island classics such as Crete, Rhodes, Kos, and Corfu, as well as mainland destinations such as Thessaloniki, Preveza, and Kavala. Nuremberg's twin city – new to the program this year – will be served by direct flights from May 2026. Spain attracts visitors not only with Mallorca and the Canary Islands, but also with attractive destinations on the Iberian Peninsula such as Alicante, Malaga, Valencia, Girona, and Barcelona.

Turkey is once again strongly represented: Antalya is served several times a day, supplemented by Bodrum (new), Izmir, Kayseri, and Adana-Cukurova. Those who love the Red Sea will find perfect conditions with sun and sea in Hurghada and Marsa Alam in Egypt. For those looking for something special, highlights such as Madeira and the Bulgarian bathing paradise of Varna are waiting.

Even more connections to favorite destinations

There is particularly strong growth in flights to the two most popular destinations from Nuremberg: Mallorca and Antalya will be even more accessible with attractive flight times thanks to Marabu and Corendon Airlines. Fans of Turkey can look forward to a new destination on the Turkish Aegean coast – Turkish Airlines subsidiary Ajet will be flying to Bodrum twice a week from the end of June. Fuerteventura will be served by both Corendon Airlines and Marabu next summer.

In addition, the summer flight schedule offers exciting destinations in Italy with Bari, Naples, Palermo, Cagliari, and Olbia, as well as in Croatia with Zadar. The flights to Olbia have been so well received that Marabu will offer a third weekly flight to Sardinia in the summer of 2026.

Eastern Europe is also well connected: Albania with Tirana, Romania with Bucharest, Braşov, Cluj-Napoca, Sibiu, and Timișoara, Moldova with Chişinău, North Macedonia with Skopje, and Serbia with Belgrade. The offer is complemented by Vilnius in Lithuania and Budapest in Hungary.

For those who love the big wide world, there are daily connections to the hubs of Frankfurt, Istanbul, Paris, and Amsterdam. Ryanair also offers a direct connection to London Stansted.

Taking off with strong partners

With strong partners such as Lufthansa, Air France, KLM, and Turkish Airlines, as well as popular holiday airlines such as Corendon Airlines, Marabu, SunExpress, and low-cost airlines Ryanair, Pegasus, and Wizz Air, there is something to suit every taste and budget. The destinations mentioned can already be booked via the websites of the airlines and tour operators. The complete summer flight schedule will be published in early 2026.
