The Hungarian Parliament building, Országház, is the seat of the National Assembly of Hungary. It is one of the city's landmarks. The building is located on Kossuth Lajos Square, directly on the bank of the Danube.

Heroes' Square, Hősök tere, is one of the largest and most impressive squares in Budapest. It is located at the end of Andrassy Avenue and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The square features two important buildings: the Museum of Fine Arts and the Palace of Arts.

The Castle Palace is now one of Budapest's most famous and most visited sights and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walking from the Fishermen's Bastion to the National Gallery, you can enjoy a magnificent view - one of the most beautiful stretches of the Danube can be seen from here.

The Széchenyi Lánchíd, also called the Chain Bridge, is a suspension bridge that connects the districts of Buda and Pest. The Chain Bridge was opened in 1849.
