Agadir
The former fishing village of Agadir is now by far the most modern city in Morocco, making it interesting not only for European tourists but also for locals.

Highlights
Agadir invites you to a relaxing beach holiday with golf courses, a wide crescent-shaped beach and a promenade with cafés, restaurants and bars.
Worth seeing in the city centre is the Musée du Patrimoine. The museum documents the cultural history of the local Berbers and shows their craftsmanship. Afterwards, you can stroll through the local market, Souk El Had, and sample local specialities. To the south of the city are the medina, a replica of a traditional craftsmen's village, and the Souss-Massa National Park. To the north are fishing villages with quiet beaches and the Taghazout surf spot. The famous surf spot is also said to have a calming effect, as stress is forgotten and everything seems much slower and more relaxed.
All the more adventurous can go deep-sea fishing in classic Moroccan style on fishing boats in the Atlantic. We set off from the fishing port in Agadir at eight o'clock. Bait and appropriate equipment will be provided. On the hunt, you can then pull bonitos, tunas and marlins out of the sea.
If you fly to Agadir in June, you are lucky enough to experience the Sahraoui Festival. Camel races and traditional dances are on the programme.
