The Franconians' favourite island will come into focus next summer. The airline Condor is responding to the strong desire to travel among people in the metropolitan region and will be offering direct flights from Nuremberg to Palma from 9 April 2022. Initially, the route will be flown four times a week, then daily from the end of May until mid-October.
"The pent-up demand for holiday travel will be huge next summer. With the significantly increased flight frequency, we are responding to the strong demand from tour operators, travel agencies as well as individual travellers and are offering more connections to Mallorca than ever before," said Ralf Teckentrup, CEO of Condor. "We are delighted to now be able to add Nuremberg to our existing departures and offer our guests ideal connections from there to Germany's favourite destination."
Condor passengers will travel in comfort on a 262-seat Airbus A330-200. Tickets for a full Business Class (22 seats) are also available. The flights can be booked now at travel agencies or online at condor.com
"With Condor, we have once again been able to attract the classic German tourist airline to our location. Together with the offer of the airlines that are also already bookable this summer, passengers from the metropolitan region enjoy a high degree of flexibility when planning their trip to Mallorca. Condor's Business Class rounds off the current offer," says airport managing director Dr Michael Hupe.
From Nuremberg, the Mallorca offer is thus growing significantly, as travellers can already book their direct flight to the Balearic island with Corendon Airlines, Eurowings and Ryanair. At the height of summer, Albrecht Dürer Airport now offers a choice of four airlines and over 40 departures per week to Palma de Mallorca.
